It's too bad he can't afford a new guitar? I may push your vox just a little bit harder in the mix (at least a few db...) They don't feel quite out front enough to me. In some places they do, but in some places they need some love and should be on top of the track. Good job on the performance. Amazing guitar work!
 
It would be nice if you had the original track so you could pan and EQ that lead guitar to move it out of your way in places. 
 
That guy is really an amazing guitarist... He's a freaking prodigy. Not many people can play like that, only a handful.

Agreed with Robbie, The guitar, as nice as it is (and I love gt) gets in the way of the vox. Yes, bring the vox up a notch. @ 3.11/12 sounds like something peaking as I hear crackle. Top solo work, my kinda thing :)

I really enjoyed the playing.  The mix is spot on.  
 
You really need to show your faces!  Both of you are great players but without your face, it's like a guitar lesson.  I say show yourself as an artist with face and instrument!

Thanks rimshot, well the video was done along time ago I`m not in it as i just added my vox to his track and he allowed me to upload with his video...nobody needs to see our ugly mugs anyway LOL!!!!!!
