The current version 1.0.3.3 will no longer function after April 14th.
Maybe V10 is coming?

Probably so. I recently inquired at everyplugin about a quote for re-wuping and was told there's going to be a new WUP promo coming later this week so to wait until then.

In a year and a half, not a single one of my many Waves plugins was updated. So...I saw no reason to give them any more of my money. Of course, they then recently did a dump of updates. Real bastidges, those guys. I like and use some of their plugs regularly, but wouldn't mind moving completely off of Waves at some point.

Let's hope that V10 sees some much need UI improvements...

Most of them are older then dirt...

I'm still using the old Waves License Center. I'm worried that old projects will get the dreaded missing plugin message if I update to Waves Central. Are my fears unfounded?

FWIW (since it seems none of us have the same experience with CP schemes) Waves Central was probably the easiest upgrade I've had. Everything kept working, and I could easily move licenses around, and keep track. All in all a painless experience.

Now I am (as always) skeptical about all the recent security updates - Waves Central, iLok, even eLicenser, and now it appears Plug-in Alliance. On the one hand I'm pleased they are paying attention, on the other hand I do tire of worrying about security on the studio computer. (I'm betting the recent CCC update had something to do with security too, but I'm too polite to ask!)

So we'll see, if I run into any problems (tonight is the big update everything night) I will report back here, otherwise I'll be too busy making music to post! I hope!

I updated and now I have no desktop icon to launch it. The update deleted the old one but didn't leave me with a new one.
