I had the same problem went from 6.3.0 to 6.3.1 and then hoped it was fixed so tried 6.3.2 Uninstalled 6.3.2 and download 6.3.0 form UAD website did a rescan in Sonar and back working 100%

Last straw for UAD for me.  Getting "stranded" by them for all of us UAD1/UAD2 owners in terms of drivers we can't use and complete lack of x64 makes a trip to Ebay to sell my cards and plugs seem certain.

Enough.

I hope it's only a glitch at UAD far no problems with drivers. I have a quad card which cost a lot of money and loads of plugins so I would not be happy should UAD not get this fixed soon. They have promised all plugins would be 64 bit by the end of 2012. They have posted a workaround. Lets wait and see what they do. I find windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit strange. Normally as administrator you have full rights to any system but not so with Windows 7. If you are administrator already why would you have to run any program as administrator? You are either administrator or not as I see it. Sorry having a moan about windows and now god help us all Windows 8 and all the driver issues again.

I am a little confused.  Is the workaround, to go back to a prior sofware version?  If so, that does not solve the problem of using 6.3.2 in Sonar 64 bit. THANKS for your help.

Hey Deswind,
I don't think there really is a work around. Going back to 6.3.0 makes your plugins functional but does not let you use the new plugs offered in later version.

That is how it looks to me.  It actually is a bigger deal than the extra plugs that were developed.  The OCTO will only work with 6.3.1 and 6.3.2 - to there goes that idea - at least until the 64 plugs are out!
Have a good one!

The article from UAD on 64bit architecture was INSULTING....these guys are jerks.

(Here)

They need to get out of the software business if this is going to be their attitude to advancing technology.

I can understand writing an article trying to explain the difference, but they really didn't do a good job of that and just made insulting snide remarks through-out.

And people are selling their UAD 1176's to get the Mohog version...arrogance is poison.

I am disinclined to acquiesce supporting them anymore...
