how long does is it taking to do a fast bounce? are you wanting to create a stereo track for ease of editing and mixing? you can link clips and send them to a common bus to add effects there.
Yes, I have a lot of volume envelopes to add so I would like it to be 1 stereo track instead of 2 mono tracks. I will probably go the buss automation route, or just put up with the bouncing time. ** I took about 20 minutes to bounce, but I discovered I was doing it wrong and had unwanted effects in the bounc or something else wrong. It now takes about 2 minutes. Not so bad.
Another bouncing question. My source tracks are 16bit. When doing a simple bounce to stereo, should I change my 'Render Bit Depth' to 16bit or will there be some benefit to a higher bit depth?. I'm not sure if it is really rendering or just applying the Pan left/right to the audio files. All other settings are unity.
