Can't figure this out, keeps happening, so if anyone has experienced this help would be appreciated. Sonar X1 Producer Expanded d I've recorded a track of audio, and while I'm recording another audio in another track it stops recording on its own, but the project continues to play. I've checked my Record options and do not have punch out enabled or anything...

Ive done it before and had to zoom all the way out to see that I had the PunchIn turned on, other wise it didnt show up.

But if your seeing it record and then drop out, you should see the red line in the time ruler.

Weird, havent seen this prob yet,  Ill be watching to see what ya find.

I know every once in a great while mine might get a little screwy and Ill have to save, close and restart to clear things back up

Thanks for the suggestion...does the punch appear without having been set? I checked after it happened again and my punch options were not checked at all. This happens to me in a fresh project - right now I'm not able to record a single song due to this issue. Driver conflict? I don't get it, I've never encountered this behavior before.

It sounds like auto punch is on. 

In the time line, auto punch shows up as two reddish triangle markers..... one at the start point and one at the end and they are connected for the duration by a reddish line between them indicating the area the punch is active. 

I use auto punch a good bit, and at times forget I have it set in a track... So when I go to a different track at a different part of the song and attempt to record.... it doesn't record....then I remember the punch.... 

Any time I use AP in a project I add it to the top tool bar so it's easy to see at a glance. 

If auto punch is enabled, you'll see a red marker section on the timeline. Do you see that there?
