Seeking advice and comments on the following Edit > Preferences > File > Folder Locations for a brand new SONAR X2 installation.

As background information, the computer is: XoticPC GT70 with Core i7-3490XM, 16GB, C: drive is 480GB solid state, F: drive is 750GB. The only reason I mention the solid state drive is that it is faster than Bunny Blue Blazes and there seems to be no need to offload files to another drive to save on head access. The 2nd drive F:\SONAR X2 Projects is used for all the new audio projects and provides a "one-stop" backup source for most onging work. I don't have a long list of reasons for these recommendations, but it just seems to me that the varied file locations after a normal install could use some improvement.

So, over the lifecycle of X2 (upgrades, new versions, etc.) are there current or future problems with the following proposed Folder Locations and folder names?

Project Files: F:\SONAR X2 Projects
Templates: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Project Templates
Track Templates: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Track Templates
Track Icons: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Track Icons
CAL Files: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\CAL Files
Wave Files: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Wave Files
Video Files: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Video Files
Sysx Files: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Sysx Files
Play List: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Play List
Groove Quantize: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Groove Quantize
StudioWare: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\StudioWare
Drum Maps: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Drum Maps
Plug-in Layouts: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Plug-in Layouts
Step Sequences: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Step Sequences
FX Chain Presets: C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\FX Chain Presets

So, that's it. Please comment.

"Bunny Blue Blazes" - I like that!

Setup seems reasonable to me, though if you're anything like me that 480Gb will vanish if you're storing wav and video files on it as well.  If had had an SSD I'd look to certainly put all the program files and probably VSTs on it.  Most of the templates and stuff would go on the good ol' platter as they don't really need the speed.

What I do is, while X2 is still in a "testing" period, I am still pointing all folders to X1 locations even while working with X2. This way when I discover what is not usable with X2 and must relegate to X1, files are still intact. (Because X1d was solid for me) When the smoke clears and bugs worked out, then I go into preferences and change to X2 locations after I manually copy presets, etc to the respective X2 folders - which takes all but 20 seconds to do.
