  • Cakewalk percussion plug in doesnt show parameters

The parameters for the cakewalk percussion audio plug in doesnt show its parameters, it just shows the shell of the plug in. Any tips or suggestions? Only this plug in is having problems. Thanks in advance

You're talking about the Percussion Strip, right? And the UI is blank? 

Could be some resource files have been deleted, like the bitmaps that are used to draw the controls. Look in the vstplugins\percussion strip\resources folder. There should be a whole mess of .bmp files in there, plus a couple .cwres files. The cwres files are text files that link the bitmaps to their respective functions.

If that folder's empty or missing, you should be able to re-install just that plugin from the installation disks.

Interesting.  I noticed this on X2 the other day on a fairly large project, but havent got round to testing it properly.  I can select presets and the processing works, but the UI is just a white box.

If it still fails I might try the reinstall of that plug.

Just loaded percussion strip again but its not working. Any other suggestions?

Thanks all, I deleted first then reinstalled the plugin by itself.
