Please pardon me for not responding individually.  In my brief respite between treatments I took the opportunity to go out of town for a while and I wanted to respond as quickly as possible.
Thanks to all who responded.  I very much appreciate the comments and I got the message loud and clear.  I have adjusted the EQ on the drums to get more "snap" out of the snares (not re-posted yet).  This is one of those songs that I was working on when my system crashed and I lost my working files.  Sooo, I was essentially trying to master the mix that I could salvage.  I couldn't tease out the individual tracks.  In order to fix the delay issues I am going to have to re-record this number.  I will probably not get this done and post it until after I compete my last med. treatment.

I like the vibe too. And am in agreement with the above comments. As it stands at the moment the songs sounds small. Need to get those drums sounding alive. I l love verb, but even for me it's making your track sound distant.
A few small fixes and the production of this piece could be move out of the basement and straight onto centre stage.

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions.  As I mentioned above this was a song that I did a while ago but when my system crashed I lost the working files.  I thought I could salvage it but unfortunately not.  So I have done a complete re-recording incorporating as many of the suggestions of which I was capable.  The vocals have been recorded with a bunch less verb.  The guitar lead was also recorded with very little verb.  I am using drum loops and tried to EQ them as best I could and even tried FX on them.  I think that I have a bit more snap on the snare but given my limited capabilities I am not sure that I can get any more out of them.
 
I hope that this sound better than my attempt at restoration.
