No problems with iLok other than the once-in-a-blue-moon issue where the PACE service wasn't started. That's the first place I'd look and simply starting the service fixes the problem.

The Pace service is working so I am able to use all my products. it's the iLok manager that won't install. I don't want to un-install the Pace service in fear I won't be able to install it again since it is installed with the iLok manager application. I am not able to manage my licenses is the problem.

Hmmm...I'm considering buying a new software synth that requires iLok.  I wonder if I'll be forced to upgrade my iLok to get the new stuff to work?

Most require iLok 2 now...but now you can choose to authorize to your iLok OR the PC....

True ONLY if the vendor supports PC authorization. Some (many?) like Slate only permit authorization to the dongle.

Don't forget to revert it back to delayed startup after installing.

Just an FYI: I ran the install and keep getting two errors during the beginning of the install.
1st error 1935
2nd error 1603
It then rolls back and uninstalls. now I have no iLok app until I figure out what's wrong. 3.0 was running just fine. I hate updates sometimes.

KInd of the same prpblem for me except it DOES roll back to 3.0.0. And that's where I'll stay for now.

No problems updating here.

AFAIK I'm not having problems with 3.0.0.
