Does Wavelab Elements do this or do I need the full version?
And, are you sure I can top and tail and fade in Wavelab then save that as a project so that when I update the mix in Sonar I can simply import the new mix into Wavelab and all my top, tail, fade editing will remain in place?

Unfortunately, there is no demo for Wavelab so I have to ask questions.
Thanks.

NEWS FLASH:

I found the 30 day trial for WaveLab Elements 8 -- one version back from the current version 9.

http://download.steinberg.net/trial/Wavelab_Elements_8_Trial_Installer_win.exe

It is looking good. You can install 64 bit, 32 bit, or both. I installed the 64 bit. It automatically found all my 64 bit plug-ins at startup, both vst2 and vst3. The graphics are nice. The program is snappy fast.
The list price is 99 dollars so it is affordable.
Now I'm going to give it a good workout and see if it does what I need it to do.

Unfortunately, Wavelab Elements only allows 2 vst per track so that's not going to work for mastering.
3 or 4 would be better.
The full Wavelab allows 10 vst per track but you pay 600 dollars for it. So no go.

Studio One is still your best bet.

Hey maybe if we keep hinting at it, the cake bosses will bake us a mastering page for sonar...

Wavelabs Elements does 4 VST's per track

Plus a Post-Mastering slot for Sonarworks, ARC or the like.

That's the master section you are showing in the graphic (?)
The master section actually does 5 vst. (Elements 9)
The individual tracks still only allow 2 vst. (Elements 9)

Unless I'm missing something? (could be since I have no knowledge of Wavelab).

Here is the lineup comparing Full version to Elements 9.

Thanks for posting SF_Green.
I will have another look at Elements and see if I am missing something.
It is a real nice program.

My apologies; I mistook what you were saying. You are correct then on the clip limit.
