We're left here with ****** and *****

Every time they're mentioned, they're still here. Stop doing it.

At the Hall of Fame induction for George Harrison...

The look on George's son's face tells you he thinks Prince is killing it.

Another..."wow".    And at 57 - they're getting younger each time.

Having played a number of Prince songs back in the 80's all I can say is RIP.  And, respect.

Damn.  2 weeks ago he played a surprise show a few doors from my house.  I thought "nah, i'll get him next time."  I guess not.
I found his music to be very hit and miss.  But even for the stuff i didn't like, you knew he knew exactly what he was doing.  And he was doing exactly what he wanted.

Been there, done that. Totally regret it. Will never not live in the moment again.

Long story:

Chicago. Around 1980. Bob Marley was coming through. I'd never seen him before, but had all of his music and loved it. A young lady I knew had 2 tickets, and invited me, but I turned her down. I was afraid of her, physically. She was Swiss; a tall, solid, bigger than me chiro student at National in Lombard (along with my both of my brothers). She had practiced chiro on me, and let's just say that she wasn't the most gentle I've experienced. As soon as she asked me out, I flashed on the pain likely to come later in the evening, and said "No."

One of the dumbest things I've ever done. Bob passed shortly after that show, and I never did get to see him live.

I'm still kicking myself for that mistake 36 years later. Wish I could forget.

Damn, but could Prince play the guitar! RIP, mi amigo!

Very talented guy, if a complete nutter.

Never was a fan, but still sorry to see anyone go so young. I guess now he really is "the artist formerly known as Prince".

Wow, really very sad.  Between this and the Queen's birthday celebrations it's been an odd night for emotions.

Anyone hear what caused his death?  All I've heard so far are guesses about flu complications...  57 is too close to my age!
