Fog: Ozone + win7 64 bit has worked fine for me (other than a little latency and confusing it with the 32-bit version.

it was getting a bit confused with 16 / 24 bit I noticed so far, but VST wise.. I've noticed it popping (junglist and a few more) ... even upping the buffers , well didn't sort it..

I might try it in WDM I guess, but I'd prefer to use asio.

M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R.

Im running 7.0 (lol) on W7 x64, works great.

It's got phantom power and MIDI, but still a good unit in my mind.

I really like M-Audio because of all the post-purchase support you get with them, like driver updates and lots of documentation.  Line 6 was the complete opposite.

Their software is pretty cool too.  If you want, go ahead and download the driver for the interface.  You dont actually need the hardware to be able to play with the software and get a feel for it (unlike some other brands).

Out of curiosity, knowing that I'll eventually have to upgrade to Windows 7, I just checked and it seems that there are drivers for my good old Delta 44.

Still running XP and I don't plan on switching OS before a while, but at least, I know that I've got that covered, which is nice cos' I know they took a long time to support Vista.
Pretty much like Dave and his Dakota, I've ran this thing under 98, 2000 and XP - basically for the last 10 years, throughout which I remember having problems w/ drivers only once.

OK, I'm glad there are so many non-fireface users with cheer.  That should ease my going to USB 2.0 a bit ... regardless of the options.  I'll certainly research every one of your diverse sound interfaces.

Thanks so much all!

I must admit I do have a FF800 too, not using it with Win 7 though.
