They are sounds for DimPro. Is DimPro 1.5 the only version ever installed on this machine?

Can you tell me Where those sounds are in your c:drive so i can copy mine in the right folder? please

There are two parts to the library

If you are running 64bit the default locations are
c:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples
c:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs

For 32bit the default locations are
c:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples
c:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs


There should be a "Digital Sound Factory Symphonic String HD" directory in the Multisamples directory that contains the sfz files and subdirectory of wav files. There should be another "Digital Sound Factory Symphonic String HD" directory in the Programs directory containing 4 subdirectories of prog files. FYI, the ProgramData directory is a hidden directory.

Thats a good start. Thanks alot. That really get me the idea of what goes where. I would like to put the files where they need to go but this Digital Sound Factory Symphonic String HD file is an application, and it cannot be opened like a folder. When I executed the application, which i presume is suppose to put all the files where they belong, it says that it cannot do it Error: Could not locate Dimension Pro installation please update to Dimension Pro 1.5 and run this installer again... So, my new question is, how can i assure myself dimension Pro is registered? Is it registered cause its working?

The "Digital Sound Factory Symphonic String Hi Definition.exe" is the installer for the library. For some reason the installer does not recognize your DimPro installation. Did you try to run the installer as administrator? Right click on the exe file and select "Run as administrator." You can check your DimPro version by running the standalone DimPro, click on the "DIMENSIONPRO" in the upper right-hand side of the GUI. The DimPro info screen will popup with the version and serial number. You may want to do the same running DimPro in SONAR. They should both be version 1.5.

Everthing should work. I dont understand at all. dimPro is 1.5, in Sonar X2 and in standalon. The same version. With expansions packs, 1, 2, 3. It did work for the Encanti in Rapture, made those work. Made Zeta2 Mutant patches work.... But Digital Sound Factory Symphonic Strings HD for PC, nop.

I did try the application in Admin mode, not working... Its telling me, at each sample its extracting : Error: Could not locate Dimension Pro installation please update to Dimension Pro 1.5 and run this installer again

I think you have to refresh dimension Pro to get the sounds to show up In the column If they are as you say put In the right folders
