This storm was so big that as it was coming on shore in Jersey, we were getting some pretty stiff winds down here in Georgia. Nothing but some limbs to pick up here. I really feel for those people in Jersey and NY and other areas really affected. The politicians are all on TV patting each other on the back and the regular people are crying, many have no food, gas, water, food, or anything. At some point it might boil over if words don't become actions... I hope everything gets fixed really quickly. The cleanup and rebuilding will go on for a year or two. It is about to turn cold there.

Come on! I deadlift 310 lbs! 210 is nothing! Haha I forgot that trampolines these days have the big saftey harness things and are round! I grew up on this, so forgot that times have changed ;) And they were just a tad lighter than 210 lbs :D

 
Yeah...   I used to be able to deadlift 315, but that was many years ago.  Plus, with those safety bars taller than I am the leverage is so not happening...   I'd like to keep me stones where they are.

Got power back 2 days ago ..still a lot of people in my neighborhood without power.. And getting gas is insane 2 hr wait , if the station has power and gas when u get there ..  

Glad to see you all guyz are pretty ok ......this kind of event reminds you that humans are just a host on earth , and also reminds us what others have felt without the concern we have today for the big apple (New orleans , haiti ect) ....

Eastern Long Island NY checking in. Lost power for 4 days and minor house damage. I was very lucky as I live close to the water. Others on Long Island lost everything. This storm was devastating and it's going to take years to rebuild. I've lived through several hurricanes including Gloria but I've never experienced anything like this. It was truly a terrifying experience. There are boats, big boats, on top of houses and houses on top of boats. Cars floating away and huge trucks flipped over like Tonka toys. My heart goes out to those who lost everything. We are helping our neighbors rebuild and are thankful we are still alive.
