Ah sorry, that's an X2 feature, just realised you're on X1. All the options are still in the delete dialogue though.

Press Shift + H. That will show all tracks.

thanks.

tried it all, but no luck.   i guess it's not a big deal i have those extra 20 measures of play.

so is there no marker or other setting to mark an end?  even if one had clips past a desired end, can't u set the time cursor to stop, without looping back?

In the track view, you see little dots if there is something else coming up later in a track.  If all tracks are showing and you see no dots, then those are just the normal blank measures that are always there--they don't do anything and don't hurt anything.

You can change the project to stop at the end instead of continuing to scroll—similar to making a tape stop when the music stops instead of running the tape off the reel and continuing to spin.

Another option is just to turn the song into a concept album and fill up those blank bars,

Have you tried checking the event list? Press Ctrl + A then Alt + 8.

That will select all and open the event list. In the event list view menu make sure all events are checked.

Check the times at the end of the project and see if there are any events present at all. Patch changes for example. Any event will keep Sonar going until it reaches the last one.

If there's no event or any data at all beyond the end of the project I'm a bit clueless TBH. IIRC there was a long standing bug that would keep Sonar going past project end but I think that was automation related and I thought it had been fixed.

how do i get it to stop at the end of the last clip?

and yes, i checked the event list - there is nothing listed after the last clip.

That's the "Stop at project end" option in the TV--->Options menu. I think that was one of the first suggestions. If it does stop eventually see if there is anything at the stop point.

forgot - did try that.

the only thing i see is i have a clip that i shortened at the end.  so there is no midi data because it is hidden.  but, even if i restore the midi clip to its initial length, the time still goes on after that.  i also tried to just delete it but again, the time continues on.  i see absolutely nothing past the last clip.

Does it stop eventually or just keep on going?

it stops at measure 238, where the midi and audio data stop at measure 213.

That would suggest there is some sort of event and/or data at measure 213. Envelope node maybe? That would be a likely explanation as they could easily be hidden by the edit filter.

Have you got "TV Menu--->View--->Display--->View Ghosted Data" checked? You should at least see any envelopes ghosted then. The only other thing I can think of is some sort of MIDI CC but that should show in the event list.

Other than that I really don't know what else to suggest.
