Is there a PDF copy of the manual anywhere? I'm trying to go through some things before purchasing and I keep coming across procedures that use concepts covered elsewhere in the manual. When I try to reference these I don't see them in the index. A searchable document would be very helpful but I'm not seeing one anywhere.

Local documentation is a separate download as listed in Command Center.  It was VERY stale the last time I looked though.

Only the web is available before purchase. The Reference Guide PDF is only available with purchase. While it is a reformatted copy of the web based documentation, it is not updated with every release. There is a local help file in chm format that is updated with every release.

The search in the upper right on this page scans all help files and the knowledge base. After getting the search result, there is an option to restrict the result to the current documentation.

Your system may work differently, but my experience with the search box in the upper right of the Documentation page is that it only works when I hit "Enter" on my keyboard. Clicking on the magnifying glass icon doesn't work on my system. YMMV.
