My system now has a dual boot , Xp and windows 7,  Today I turned on my computer and I got A NTLDR is missing press ALT, Cntrl, Delete.
I tried to repair my system with the install disc, and a few other way with no luck.
I can boot up if I press f12 , As I would from a cd , without having W7 in the Disk drive and every thing works fine, It just dosent boot up unless I use f12, I been at this for a few hrs.
So I realize its not a HD problem but more so of a boot up issue, I think what happen is when I installed W7 , I installed it on a new SSD and I had my other 4 hard drives plugged in , I read some where that I needed to unhook those drives so that the boot up files are all in the correct drive.
Im thinking now maybe I can get a new SSD install W8 and maybe that will fix the missing NTLDR ,

Im not sure what I should do, should I get acronis true image? Would a Re install of W7 and an Image file prevent me from having to reinstall all my software?  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks John

If you can boot up, go to start> run> type in msconfig> go to BOOT INI tab. Check all booth paths. you should be able to repair it here.

Edit: with all those boot paths, not sure what ntldr is failing.  If it't your W7 this may help http://techsnafu.com/how-to/ntldr-missing-windows-7-fix/
