We can trade in our X1 book?

you can use the shuttle in sonar, I was going to buy one so asked the maker.. also you can use keymapping of cubase in sonar, it's in the prefs. maybe thats mapped also.

I have a poor mans version.. a  usb  number pad I got cheap recently £3 , which does some of it (start / stop / record) like the ST days

I have no idea. Some retailers might do this... I think you can trade in some books over at Amazon. But other than that, I don't know of any other trade in offers.
