OK... that's nice if you're doing hip hop, electronica, house, dance, and the 57+ varieties of those genres. Quite frankly, I wouldn't know what I would do with most of these. If I put a loop in my music that said "In the year of '89, I stole back my black mind" my listeners would be confused.
I think I'd like to get a job recording and selling these kinds of sounds...I can see it:
Producer: "OK, Dave. Bring up patch 89 and press the A5 key briefly.
(Dave presses the key briefly.)
Producer "OK. That's a take. Solid, Dave! OK. Let's do patch 90 now. This time use G4 and put a little mod wheel on it."
Dave: "Sure, you've got it!"
Producer: "Just 437 more and we're done with this."
And so it goes...
