I was convinced that X2 had a total inability to recall Most Recently Used projects, as they are never proposed at start up. Then I remembered that I have never yet shut down an X2 session - every one has ended in a crash. X2 may not be able to recall much, but what I recall is why I stayed with 8.5.3 for so long: STABILITY.

Did you post just to rant, or would you like some assistance?

If the former, then good luck.

If the latter, then please attach your system specs to your signature, and provide any situation-specific information that you can, so that we can try to help you.

Most folks here in the forum do not have your issue, which would suggest either an installation problem or a settings problem, or both.

Since you chose to not provide any additional information, I wish you great success in figuring out your mess, and/or continued satisfaction derived through ranting,

Don't mean to hijack a thread, but thanks for posting these suggested settings. It had an immediate impact for me where I could start using X2 for current work.

Kind Regards

Swamptooth - I worked my way through your list and applied the changes that seemed relevant. I didn't apply the AllowOffline ... one because I have not experienced any issues with bounces. So far so good. Thanks. As a matter of interest, where did you get these changes? Some of the items are not even mentioned in the Reference manual, as far as I can see. Is there a more specific reference document somewhere? A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and a little more would make me even more dangerous.
