Gear/Spec now listed in my signature!

Seeing as I've made most of the musical parts, I may just bounce the clips save in a new file, although I have saved alternate versions of this project (as always) for example, "HouseTrack 1_01" "HouseTrack 1_02" etc maybe it's the project file itself???

Can an individual project file become corrupt, and various versions it is saved as will remain corrupt???

Thanks for the help.

Are you backing up to a second drive? If so those versions would return you to a un corrupted state, That is why we back up to a second drive as we work.

Having other saved versions on the same hard drive could mean loosing everything at once.

Mhmm

I back my sh!t up pretty regularly, at the end of day or after something pretty decent/worthwile has been created, I'll back up to external drive.

But these would be backups of the corrupted file. The file itself is just funky. Project runs fine, no dropouts, no stuttering/clicking etc, I only have 1 instance of session drummer, 2 instances of Massive, and 2 instances of Z3ta+.
I've had projects save fine with 4 massives 3 Z3ta+'s etc.

Did you try my suggestion yet?

Just sitting down again to work on it, haven't had a chance yet.

So what are you suggesting, just renaming the project folder, or the folder that's in, or what?

'cause the folder is in a folder, in a folder, etc.

It's in my remix folder, in my beatport folder, then it's the project folder, should I just copy and rename the folder in the same place, or outside of those folders?

You haven't listed any hard drives in your sig - this could be important!

Couldn't find where it tellme hard drive name.

Also, can anyone tell me why the project file would be nearly 4MB big?!?!?! I've made much bigger projects than this one, I've checked a lot of them, all under 2MB, more like 1.5mb, this one I've done less but is slamming 4MB ?!?!?!

bitflipper, I tried your suggestion, and it gave me a worse crash, first it windows start copying audio files as I saved and then it crashed, then i got Sonar message *"Error. Out of memeroy" or something. Then I got some kind of **Miscrosoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error/message (though I cannot see what it says, the box is blank).

*What is this? Why does this happen?
**Any clue what/why this is?

And again lastly, any idea why the project file is so huge in comparison to usual?!?!?!

I think Dave's instruction are very clear.

You are not answering some questions asked.
Do you use a back up drive?
And as Jonesey is asking how big are your hard drives and are they becoming full.

3 MB is just the CWP icon which would not include any audio. Your audio data SHOULD be in the same folder. If you're only recording MIDI then I can see small file sizes and possibly there are no audio folders?

I said I use a backup drive.

My hard drive is 5-600GB and I have 82GB left.
In my project folders there are the 'audio' folders too.where the audio is stored. I think currently 'save audio with project' is ticked.

This problem I've only had with this track, and  made this track using a new template I created, so wondering if that could be a problem?
