Thank you. I appreciate the sentiment, and yes I do enjoy my music making..
Fair enough, I can see the last part was un-necessary and was more of a "knee-jerk" so my apologies for that....no I am not usually like this, but I guess for some reason at that particular time, the original first reply "got up my nose" so to speak...
And then others getting involved annoyed me as well...I do understand you were coming from trying address a "wrong" as you saw it, but, and this is only my view, as the thread had moved on with practical and useful info after that, that it was perhaps best left alone...
Anyhoo, time to get more musical and less "waxing lyrical" ;) let's get back to making music!!
ciao

For what it's worth, Sound Centre is okay. I've used it a lot in the past (with Sonar 6), but have used it less since going 64 bit in X1 and X2. I still use the Vintage Keys expansion as there are some sounds in there that I haven't got elsewhere, but YMMV depending on your style of music. I still use the fingered bass sound from Sound Centre, as well, as it seems to fit in with some of the stuff I do.
As for the SI stuff, I did use it, but now find that things like Dim Pro provide better alternatives, and are 64 bit.
Sound Centre also allows far less tweaking of sounds, unlike Dim Pro or Rapture.
I didn't find Sound Centre "buggy" at all when I was running Sonar as 32 bit, and have only used it infrequently since going 64 bit, so don't know if that can raise issues.
I have used SI a l bit in the past, particularly the bass and Electric piano, but again not that much now, so I can't recommend it if you are now 64 bit.
If you are running 32 bit, and don''t need to tweak sounds to much, then snap up the Sound Center expansions.
