Maschine 2 and KK have just been updated and there was an issue with both. Current 'fixed' 2.4.6 and 1.6.1 versions, are loading okay in Sonar, with the exception of KK. It keeps saying to 'Please open the Standalone application to rescan, or rescan manually in the Plug-in preferences', which I do, but still getting the message in Sonar...standalone ok.
 
Anyone else finding this? Should I perhaps do a rescan VST's in Sonar and/or a reset?

I stayed at 2.4 as the release notes for 2.4.5 clearly stated "issue in sonar opening projects with maschine".. this has been a prior bug resolved iirc with 2.4
 
as a general rule, every NI product needs to be opened standalone prior to opening as a vst.. devils and dragons lurk if you fail to do this.

I had this same problem with the 64-bit version of Komplete Kontrol.
The location to the VST folder where all my 64-bit plug-ins were installed, weren't there in Preferences, so after adding it and rescanning, the issue was resolved.

How did you achieve this please?
Could you describe exactly how you did the rescan as I tried it in the preferences and nothing happened. I opened it standalone and I can play it from my S49 but not using Komplete Kontrol, the error message keeps popping up.
