I've got 16 Gig of ram ,,,,, It shouldn't be a problem ..... Doesn't seem anyone has a solution for this yet. I Really like V Vocal when it works ...... Oh well ''' break out the Melodyne ,,,,, It works great anyway.

Please list your FULL system specs in your signature.

We don't have a clue what you're running.

Oh, V-Vocal works perfectly here in X1 and X2

are you bouncing to clips ?? v vocal is an off line processor, alot of people dont realise that , and try to load multiple instances and things like that

Chregg, I've been using multiple instances of V-V since version 6PE without a problem.

And I'm not talking 1 or 2 - I've had as many as 60/70 all live without issue

"Chregg, I've been using multiple instances of V-V since version 6PE without a problem. " know wat it is Jonesey, most problems i see with the v vocal on here is not boucing to clip, but if your running that many with out boucing to clip then god knows, ive never had any problems with the v vocal myself

I'm running Win 7   64 bit i7 16 Gig ram  , I can say that it works on small projects but big projects It will crash on just one single instance on a very short clip .  I've read alot of older post but no solid solutions yet.

Yep - I had huge issues with VV.  When I went to X2 I uninstalled everything, including all the previous versions of Sonar, and it now seems to be working ok.  It was working for a while in 8.5, but once it went that was it - crash everytime it was invoked.

I only use it now on small (1 possibly 2) bars, and complete the whole thing, including bouncing to clip and then removing the original (the clips sit on top of eachother) before starting another instance.  And these are not large projects.

I know there are people who seem to have little issue, and right now it's working for me.  However, I would maintain that V-V flies pretty close to the edge, and it doesn't take a lot to make it fail.

I have had a few problems with V Vocal in the past and to be honest do not use it very often...........but I pulled it in to an X2 project I started recently, messed about with it a bit and BANG..... my first crash in X2, which has really been rock solid, since installing........I agree with the OP and the previous post, I think it has a few stabilty issues

Oh, V-Vocal works perfectly here in X1 and X2

Has never worked for me in X1 nor X2.

had a CWBRN 'submitted to development' after CW were able to replicate my problems.
that was months (if not years) ago.

I suggest the OP submits a report too.
