Hoping for the best outcome for you guys.

We have cyclones in Oz(basically the same thing), and just a couple of years ago had one headed straight towards us, then at the last minute, it stopped dead in it's tracks, and took off back out to sea. Nothing like a cyclone/hurricane to build the anxiety inside you. Mother Nature at it's best and worst at the same time.

Take care all of you.

Right outside of Hartford, CT here.  It's gonna be a wet one!

I did take a picture of my studio and all the important equipment in it, so in the unlikely event things get damaged, looted, swept away, the insurance company can't say I pulled the list out of thin air.

Taping your windows does nothing to stop windows from breaking.

It's not supposed to stop them from breaking Robert...it stops the shattering glass from flying all over.

That's what I thought too...apparently it's a myth.

I'm glad we didn't choose this weekend for a visit to NYC.

Stay safe all of you - even if it means a subterranean existence for a while.

Yes, they told us here in Florida that taping windows won't do any good.

I just checked with my brother in central Pa (Grantham) and all they are getting at the moment is some light rain.  He told me they went out for Breakfast Sunday morning and then stopped at a Weis Market (supermarket) and the shelves were bare.

Here in New York it's just a little bit windy with some light rain so far. I was surprised to look online and see photos of both the East River and the Hudson bursting their banks this morning.

I saw some blurry pics from Jersey that made things look pretty bad. You still with us Danny?

I just saw some idiot construction crew in Nry York failed to secure their crane at the top of a 65-story building.  The thing is now basically hanging upside down waiting to fall on some folks down below.

I am just North of DC, the storm is still 200 miles out - not much yet .  Some pretty hefty gusts and a steady light rain.  This will all change in the next couple of hours through tomorrow mid-morning.

So I am just hanging out, working on a midi recreation of a Bill Bruford tune - Fainting in Coils.  It's a bit of a project, as all of the players are world-class.  Drums and bass are done, keys about halfway, then I have that pesky Allan Holdsworth track to play on my keyboard.  DOH!  :)

Hey, Bob... if there aren't crews on site dealing with that crane you should probably call the authorities. That could be very very bad.
