I'm wondering why don't we have cakewalk sound center with X1 ...i really like the simple interface and the ability to find sounds quickly...

I also wonder if we have rapture , dim pro installed , the center  will register and reconise those banks ?

Are you running Producer? SoundCenter did come with Producer, but I'm not sure about other versions. I'd never heard of it until it showed up with X1.

I really don't get Cakewalk Sound Center -- it appears to have its own "subset" of programs that have nothing to do with what you actually have installed in Dim pro, Rapture, etc. What's the point exactly?

Just found this thread and I've just started to play around with Sound Center. Running X2 Pro in Win 64, I can't find sounds from any other instruments than Rapture and Dimension Pro.

It would be great to have all of the Rapture and Dimension content, including expansion packs, in addition to all of the instruments metioned above, such as Pentagon, Psyn II. Then it would be really useful.

Now it's just a poor version of Rapture and Dimension with limited content, or am I missing something here?

Are there any plans to expand the Sound Center capabilities?
