My only criticism is a slight pitch drift on some the "holy spirit sing" vocal lines.

Well? There's a lot of pitch drift throughout? But I enjoyed the piece "overall" I looked past those parts, but yes, they are there. MakeShift sings "from the heart." He's not the best singer? But he sings with passion and conviction. And to me? Well, "it works." And I'm a darn singer? 

Sorry, not a criticism just something noticeable on first listen. I did like the song.

I just do what I do because I must.  I will never be a great singer, or for that matter a great guitar player, or bass player, and probably never a great song writer.  But hey, I just do what is needed to make it happen.  You know what they say, even a blind Squirel can find a nut every so often. 
 
Don't ever hessitate to let me know if I am wavering in pitch a little, It's the only way that I get better.  That song was recorded and tracked about 10 years ago and I used the original vocal takes.  I just did some quick pitch correction on the worst parts, but did not really look over the entire vocal track.  When I listen back at material recorded 10 years ago, it is a great reality check to confirm that I am improving on every level....even vocally.

Mike! This is awesome and sounds good. I like the break down of this song as if it gives the holy spirit time to really minister to me. The guitar playing in this song is awesome as well! I love this song -haven't heard the original but this sounds good
