Is this a known bug or has it not been discovered yet? When I try to insert a track template Nothing happens.

I will try to take a look at this in a few minutes - have to wrap up helping on another thread at the moment.
Can you elaborate on the steps you are taking for this?
Thanks,

Just right click in the left side of the track view where the track numbers and fx are. In a blank section right click and choose insert tracks from template. I did this all the time in x1 but in x2 nothing happens.

Do you get a sub menu with different selections?

Well, I followed the doc from:
http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X2&Lang=EN&Req=Arranging.08.html
Which seems to match what you are saying.
I had no trouble inserting Dom's Bass from the templates.
Do you see the list of templates open up when you right-click and tell it to insert from a template?

Robert:
You are not Cakewalk Technical support. If you try to be that, you will drive yourself crazy. Chill out, dude.

I am just wrapping these couple and am quite done for the night.

Yes I see the list of templates the sub menus and everything like I did in x1. I can't load my custom templates or the stock templates. I can hear my computer loading samples or the like when I insert an instrument template and then nothing happens no tracks.

Can someone else jump in? I am not having this problem.
Sorry - my brain is just toast. Check your paths.
