Hi, I reformatted my computer and after reinstalling all of the Soft Synths that I use, opened up some projects created previously, and Sonar can't find the Soft Synths! I can open a new project and use any of the Synths with no problem, it's only when I open up a project created previous to the reformatting. This time around I didn't place the Soft Synth files in the same place as the previous install because I wanted to organize it better than I had it then. I don't understand why if Sonar knows where these programs are (in the new install) it can't find them in a previously created project! From everything I've read, it seems to have something to do with the CLSID number, which I guess must be stored in the project itself and doesn't "auto detect" and update when it detects changes are made to Soft Synth locations. Someone had previously suggested looking in the Registry, but of course that was erased when I reformatted. Is there anyone who knows of a way to get Sonar to find (within these older projects) what it already knows the location of? The programs installed are the identical ones used in the previous install of the Operating System, no upgrades, etc.. Thanks for any help you can offer!
