If you need a "one-off" solo trumpet that sounds authentic, I'd consider asking someone to play/record the real thing.




Man, I wish I could do that!  I recorded a 10 piece band once that included a 5 piece horn section...FANTASTIC!  The problem is that the leader moved elsewhere and I have no contact with him or any of the members.  He's a great horn arranger as also...oh well.

Well, the Session Horns ($99) will work in the FREE Kontakt Player..... also, someone might have a voucher they're not using and you can get a better deal (if you go that route).

For $300 you can get Session Horns or Session Horns Pro.  They'll do the job.

Wivi band is good if you don't want to spend too much and you don't want to use much ram or CPU.
