The new Perpendicular Compression Mode in Mixbus is a feature you won't find in any other DAW! To engage it hover your mouse over the Harrison compressor "mode" button, now with your left hand karate chop the Ctrl, Shift, Caps Lock, Tab, Tilda, and Escape keys. We think it sounds much better than parallel compression. Tell us what you think?

Soundwise
I think perpendicular compression will have different impact on various pitches, like this:

Too much work.

Just do what everyone else does and map Ctrl + Shift + Caps Lock + Tab + Tilda + Escape to the much simpler Alt-F4. Whatever you had been doing with your compressor, Alt-F4 will likely be an improvement.

great tip - I find the karate chop very helpful in the loudness war :-)
