It's a Waves thing.

I think its a UAD thing as well!!!
I get this with their plug-ins too.

I, last night, open a "32 bit" project I have been trying to get to open without plugin drama in 64 bit sonar. Drama argely due to the unknowingly irresponsible use of dx effects in 32 bit land.

That aside, I was now greeted with a plethora of CLSID "choices" presumably due to the installation / uninstallation / reinstallation, reset and rescan things I had done of late. I thought of this thread and how, oh no, I'll guess n' choose the last of 3 possible CLSIDs for so 20 odd plugs and save but that won't fix it.

Well I finished my CLSID choosing chores and saved the file.

You know it open then with no errors? - Its a miracle!

These songs are all 64 bit related activity.  This does not work for me, works if I just close the project without closing the program but when I reopen program with the song same ole thing. . .I'm gonna get a hold of  Waves again and see if I can figure it out today.  I'll post my findings.

So it was a relatively simple thing.  I had an old Waves shell in an x86 folder and I guess I was only supposed to be pointing to the VST3 folder only for scans.  We just removed the x86 Waves folder from the VST scan list, reset and re-scanned and walah! Thanks for the suggestions!
