Hi, I've recently purchased Sonar Producer X2 which includes DSF Symphonic Strings. I have the DSF downloaded into a VST folder and have had the VSTs scanned, but for some reason I can't find the application. I've looked in Dimension Pro 64, thinking this may be where this application was downloaded to, since 2 other DSF applications are there. Nope. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Mike

The DSF Symphonic Strings HD is delivered as a zip file containing and installer and a pdf. Extract the files from the zip, run the "Digital Sound Factory Symphonic Strings Hi Definition.exe" (the installer) as administator and then look for the patches in the DimPro patch browser.

Do as scook says but be sure to press F5 after pulling up Dim Pros browser. That will re-scan the patches in Dim Pro.

I think the new installer takes care of the browser refresh by deleting the program.lst file. When you first open the DimPro patch browser after installing the library it takes some time to display. It feels like the patch list is rebuilding at that time. If for some reason, a new library does not appear in the patch browser, Sidroe is correct, hit the F5 key in the patch browser to rebuild the patch listing.

Scook, Sidroe, Thanks very much! All's working great now. Mike
