I would snap it up if I were you.
 
It's my favorite module, I use it all the time.  It sounds FANTASTIC on vocals.  It's great to track to when doing vocals too.
 
It's not like the other compressors.  It's like a LA2A, as you said.  I LOVE IT.

Is there anywhere I can hear an A/B recording of this module? Cake has a vid up but doesn't actually give a demonstration. :-/

Do you have to have expanded to use this?  NEVER MIND: Yes, you need Expanded.

Not that I know of, but I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I like it and use it. It has character. Cake really needs a way to demo these PC plugs.

hmm... I usually don't buy stuff like this without hearing a demo (and I'm being SOOPER careful with money right now because I might be moving) but I don't want to miss out. Maybe I should PM Bill or someone from Cake to see if they can put something together for us.

I kind of bought the Production Suite under the premise I'd be getting all this stuff included but that was a very very inaccurate assumption. 

How well does it work on acoustic guitar tracks compared to the modules included with Expanded, the Suite and/or X2?
