I bought it the day that it came out, and am still very pleased with it.

Did some extensive A/B testing (ears only) between the PC2A and the UAD-LA2A on an acoustic project that i had just done.
The results are equal, no audible differences (maybe "measurable", but who cares..)

The UAD plug is $149, without the card..

That, and having the PC2A directly available in the ProChannel, makes this a no-brainer deal.
Get it while stocks last !

Yes - you want this - especially for vocals.

I am waiting a similar 50% off deal for the Concrete Limiter.

@sharke... Yeah, I'll check it out through my headphones in a bit. Just being lazy because I'm still waking up. Thanks again.

@John... hmm. Okay, how about this. Would you say it's "warmer" than the included PC comp? Crisper? I want something nice for my acoustic album. There's gonna be mandos, banjos, accordions, brushed drums, my foghorn voice and of course my spastic acoustic guitar work. I'm just not sure the current comp is gonna cut it. Bah... I should probably just snag it anyway.

I just had an idea. Cake should create a semi locked project for people to demo stuff like this. Say allow the user to record two or three tracks into it then they can play around with the plug on whatever instruments they want. No export function but you can use your existing plugs to see how they behave with the plug being demoed. Then it expires after a certain period of time. Just a thought.

Cheers.

Here is a link with a lot more information. There was a lot of threads on it too. Many members did tests and it came out well.

I tested it and was impressed. It works as advertised.

How does it compare to the TRacks white? I already have that and am wondering if its worth the purchase?

Alright. I know guys wouldn't steer me wrong. I'll probably snag it later today. I can try it out on the drums of my metal tune (which is taking far too long to finish... oof). Cheers.

As John says, maybe it shouldn't be used on everything, but it CAN be used on anything, including the drums you want it for.

I wouldn't say better I would say very different, Beep. Nor should it be used on everything but if you need what it offers there is no replacement. You wont go wrong in getting it.

Lynn, that is a better way of putting it.

Guess when I get my money for the latest job (so I have enough to buy more luxury things like this)? Guess? ... Yep - you guessed right... Monday afternoon... a few hours after the offer has ended.. Sigh...

ok I purchased it downloaded and installed it and now I have played with it for about 10 minutes. first impression is this is going to be a great tool for the toolbox. I really need to find some time to put it through some tests but so far I like what it does and I find it is well worth the investment.
