Besides the overlap muting tool not ever appearing, (reported and on another thread) If I record a take on a track,open track lanes & press the mute button for that lane,Then record another take (lane 2) and then delete take/lane 2, Take one becomes audible even though the mute button is still lit! Clicking the mute button twice re-mutes it it. What a pain. These two things are taking the wind out of how I am used to comping takes. I am suprised the software was released like this!

I have notice it on midi tracks and reported it to cake using the problem reporter. I suggest you do the same. The more reports they get the better.

I should add that instead of muting the take lane you can mute the clip in it as a work around.

I have reported it. And I have been muting clips also. What stinks is that the tools I use most are buggy. I can see some of the odd tools having unforeseen bugs but this stuff seems pretty mainstream to me. I mean clip overlap mute tool AND track lane mute issue?????? I do not believe I have seen software this rushed before!
