Great song.  Really enjoyed your performance and production.   You sound a little like Marty Robbins in a few places...
 
Both mixes are pretty good, Ed's may be a bit more bright/polished but nothing wrong with the original version either.  The only issue I hear is the backing vocals sound a little funky.   I thought the BGV were equally funky in both mix versions,  sounds like they are majorly pitched corrected and then muffled a bit to cover the artifacts or something..   Very minor issue as it is a small part of the song, but noticeable nonetheless.

Markno999, thanks for listening and your comments. Never been compared to Marty Robbins but that's fine, he was a great singer. I guess the BKV needs some work, You're not the first to comment on them. I played around with them and wanted a sound I obviously didn't get.

The song is what is important. It's a really good song.

hey Chas - I listened to both versions, the bapu version is cleaner and has a more pleasing sound.
 
not fond of the processed vocals - I can't understand what they're saying at all.
