I thought there was a "title bar" kind of thing on each track in the track view when I first installed X2. Pretty sure this was a new feature with some useful features associated with it. It's no longer there on any tracks. Did I set something to make it go away?

By title bar do you mean the clip header on clips or the track header is missing from the tracks?

If it's the clips there is an option called "Maximise Waveform height" found in Track view--->View--->Display menu that if checked makes the clips look like the "old" waveform.

If it's the track header, unless you've dragged it so narrow you've closed it completely (which is possible) I have no idea.
