Here's a new one.  I have three instances of Vienna symphonic for 1st Violins, 2nd Violins, and Violas.  When I freeze the tracks, the first chorus is OK, but in the second chorus, the Violas have tranposed to the wrong key.  What the heck?

I have never heard of freezing shifting the pitch before, but that is what is happening.  I have tried this several times.

I have never had this happen with another VST (e.g., RealGuitar, Ivory), and only one of the VSL instances does this.  I thought maybe there was a known qurik about Freeze and pitch bends or something.

OK, here is a possible explanation.

I went back and inserted an additional pitch wheel=0 control at the start of the section that was messing up.

The pitch was fine when I did not freeze, so it was not a case of a missing pitch wheel command in general.  My theory is that the pitch wheel return to zero that was in the original track was in a section that Freeze thought of as silent and therefore ignored.  I don't know that this is the case but it would explain things.

So, if you are playing a track normally, the pitch wheel = 0 can be anywhere before the start of the notes.  It seems that if you freeze, the command can be missed if it is in an otherwise silent section.  I am not sure, though.
