Someting new just started... I don't remember making any changes since having my eyes opened to my drives sleeping even tho I set them to never.... and all was fine...

Now a day (two?) later and the now time marker is moving in what appear to be equal jumps instead of consistent scrolling...

Any idea what I might have (accidentally) done?

Thanks...

Did you press the Pause key by mistake? Try pressing it again to see if that fixes the problem. Pressing the Pause key allows you to reduce the graphic updates the SONAR does in order to improve playback performance, if needed.

As I said in this I have gone back to X1 for the time being - back to rock solid, no glitch performance!

Thanks Scott...

I'm using a Mac, so there is no pause key (or break key which I did search for earlier)... But on your idea I started testing the Key combinations I tried to search for a mapping of the break key and discovered that ctl-numlock on this keyboard changed the scroll...

Thanks once again for sharing your knowledge with us all (and me in particular)...

Thanks Nigel...

But outside of my many issues with lanes, Sonar and my new DAW are working fabulously together... My latency in X1 on this machine is about 2.7ms and X2 1.3...... So the engine is definitely more efficient. I like many of the new editing changes as they are now tending to belnd more of the pre-x1 with x1.... (Except for lanes! I'm becoming an anti-lanes raver this last few days)...

Yes, there are a few bugs here and there, but it's mostly running well... Much of the reason I was so surprised to see this scrollbar issue as it was working great this morning... and is again now! (Thanks Scott)...

On my previous DAW (core2duo) I ran my mixing at a 30ms latency with all synths as well as other tracks frozen and I could manage...

Now on the new DAW I run at 1.3ms latency with the same synths and plugins with nothing frozen, Input monitoring a live guitar performance with TH2 or Amplitube (or Guitar Rig) and my CPU/Cores Meter barely climbing to 20%...!

If I could only have Layers back instead of Lanes, I'd by delerious! ;-)

No problem, Keni... I'm glad that did the trick!
