Every time I upgrade Sonar I need to unlock my MP3 encoder with my old ProAudio 9 disc, which I have been.
This time I upgraded to 64 bit Sonar and I can't find the dialog box asking for that CD.
Does the old ProAudio9 encoder/activation only work for 32-bit or should I be able to use that for X1c expanded - 64?

If so, how?

I'm sure someone has the answer, but if not I would try installing X1 32 bit and see what happens.

Otherwise I would think once it's registered on your system it would be there.

You'll need to use the 64 bit version of the encoder. It's free if previously purchased and can be obtained by contacting "CakewalkCustomerService@cakewalk.com".

Contact tech support, they will email you an unlocking program for 64bit SONAR, oe you can do what the guy above just wrote.
