Irritating things with SONAR X2! Please fix ASAP
 
 
Console view
 
It happens when you have many channels in Console view. Why does CONSOLE VIEW automatic scroll to view another PRO Channel and another TRACK when I open the Pro Channel-view on a specific channel/track? Very confusing and it kill the workflow completely?
 
It has happened me several times that I edit the wrong channel and Pro Channel because of this stupid automatic scrolling behavior?

Alt + right Click does not mute notes. It keeps deleting it. The function is broken.
 
 
 
Smart-tool-Glue or Glue-Tool 
 
Have you all notice they have taken the GLUE TOOL away from SONAR X2? Why? It was very handy.
Today you need to go to the edit menu “bounce to clips” to clue anything together midi clips or audio clips? Can we please get it back?

ALT+ Right click =Cut
ALT+ Shift Right click =Glue

For any that like to add a feature..

Bug #1
"Show Velocity on Selected Notes Only" stops working after being toggled.
Happens 100% of the time here.

How to reproduce:  

 1. Place a VSTi on a new track   2. Record some MIDI data  
3. Open the PRV  
4. Select a few notes (notice how the velocities for these notes only appears as expected)  
5. Now click on the "Notes" menu item, click "Show Velocity" (notice how all velocities show)  
6. Now click on the "Notes" menu item again, click on "Show Velocity on Selected Notes Only  

 Expected Results:  Selecting notes should show their velocities.  

 Actual Result:  No matter what you do, no note velocities will now appear. Changing to "Show Velocity" breaks any future instance of "Show Velocity on Selected Notes Only."  

Bug #2
"Give Plugin All Keystrokes" Doesn't Work With DIVA
(Note: it used to work in 8.5 and below)
Happens 100% of the time here.

1. Load DIVA on a new track
2. Open the GUI
3. Click the "Give Plugin All Keystrokes" icon to turn that feature on
4. Open DIVA's internal preset saving mechanism
5. Attempt to name the patch "Pad - Does This Work"


Actual Result:
You get as far as "P" the letter "a" will open up the audiosnap dialog box, the letter "d" will toggle the track view (or something).


Expected Result:
All keystrokes should belong to the plugin and I should be able to type whatever I want

Let's keep this going and try to use this thread for reproducible  bugs in X2. Be specific, and be sure to report them to Cakewalk.

Bug #3 for me (CWBRN-11538)
R-Mix becomes non-functional When Used On FX Bins of Mono tracks (even with Stereo content)

1. In an empty project, insert a new audio track
2. Import an audio file onto that track
3. Place R-Mix on the FX bin of track
4. Click the Interleave button on that track and set it from stereo to mono

Expected Result: R-Mix should continue to function as it would on a stereo track, but it's output should be collapsed down to mono.
Actual Result: R-Mix mutes entirely and becomes non-functional.

Workaround: Use R-Mix as a clip FX instead
