"Give Plugin All Keystrokes" Doesn't Work With DIVA
(Note: it used to work in 8.5 and below)
Happens 100% of the time here.

1. Load DIVA on a new track
2. Open the GUI
3. Click the "Give Plugin All Keystrokes" icon to turn that feature on
4. Open DIVA's internal preset saving mechanism
5. Attempt to name the patch "Pad - Does This Work"

This is unchanged from X1.  Hard to blame Sonar when DIVA seems to be the only synth exhibiting this problem behavior.

Unstable FEEL of SONAR X2.


Sometimes it take long time before it save 1-3sec. 

 

I get this too when using Kontakt 5. Maybe Sonar is saving the drum kit each time also?

Yes +1 in use of Kontakt 5...

This happens in X1 also.

Have you also notice and experience that SONAR X2 randomly just stop playback sometimes? You get a “drop out” warning in the control bar. It’s happen randomly, not always and it’s no matter of the load or kind of project…so it’s not a matter of CPU spikes or buffer setting whatever…

DIM SOLO Bug!
Often or always after activate or deactivate DIM SOLO make it shorten all MIDI-sounds and audio example from Kontakt 5? Hit stop and Play again seem to fix the issue temporality. Any else can confirm this bug?




1. Activate DIM solo with mouse
2. Hit Play
3. DIM SOLO make it shorten all MIDI-sounds and audio example from Kontakt 5?
4. Hit STOP
5. Hit PLAY again
6. Now everything works and sound as normal again.

Really? So that's what's happening! I've noticed this with not just Kontakt but other sample based VSTs as well. Synths seem to paly along nicely, as do audio - and interestingly enough, one cell in Battery always works, but not the others. I was planning to get a new sample drive thinking my current one was spinning slowly. I use the Dim Solo all the time but hadn't noticed any relation. But yes, can definitely confirm this!

FWIW - I've noticed this in Nuendo, Live, Reason, Pro Tools, Vegas, Premiere and more as well, all on different PC's or Mac's

Okay. I don't know exactly what cause this or what VST it doesn't work with? I can only describe how it sounds...shorten staccato sound. Hit stop and play fix it temporality until you need to change the SOLO setting example DIM OFF again.
