The melodic structure is quite relaxing, but the synth sound seems to jar a little. I wasn't quite sure how to feel while listening.
I really liked those two or three off key lines, they kept me on my toes and made sure my brain was still engaging.

My thanks for taking the time to listen and comment Wayne, I like a bit of dissonance now and then as it was in a minor key they are all "technically" in key just a slightly odd progression and the two stabs are all thirds apart I think.

Which particular "Synth" sound jarred?

Thanks again and thanks to all who popped in did or did not listen and left quietly.

hey John!  haven't listened to one of your productions in a while and have missed your creativeness!

this is no exception!  I would suggest bringing the drums out a little more, they seem hidden and a little in the background.

nice job!

I found some fur on my keyboard! Was that you or one of the cats?

Cool tune John!

My thanks Reece for lending your beagle ears to my tinkering, the drum thing is a sort of ha ha thought as it takes over from the initial metro gnome so was never really intended to be overly present, but I appreciate your thought.

Dan, not me must be one the cat, thanks for your ears and comment.

Hi Wookiee, the synth in question is the main piano from the start. It might just be my ears, but the other instruments seem to be more relaxed whereas the piano part jabs and has less tail. Like I said, might just be my ears and is a personal preference only.

Hi Wayne the whole thing is created using just one type of soft synth the Oberheim SEM V from Arturia which is just a two oscillator synth and was intended to be a little harsh as my playing deteriorated.

Thank you David muchly appreciated.
