V-Vocal still greyed out, guess must be a win 8 problem then ,if no one has another solution, thank's anyway folks :)

I'm not sure what the issue is there then unless there's some sort of compatibility issue with Win 8.

No worries. I haven't a clue, I guess as a last depserate measure you could try re-scanning your plugins with "re-scan existing plugs checked" but I'm not sure that's how V-vocal is seen.

Can't do any harm but the usual reasons for V-vocal being unavailable are either Audiosnap or groove clips, either of which are solved by bouncing.

Is it all projects and clips or just this one? I suppose corruption is another possibility.

it happens with a new project as well with just vocal take.. Ohhh well :P

Are you guy's sure it is a plugin cause i can not find it as a plugin, i also chk'ed the dvd for it as custom install on audio plugins but could not find it there eighter. Maybe it is buildt into sonar as a basic plugin !!, Well time to do a complete win 8 reinstall and sonar X1 install without any uppdates to see, and do 1 by 1 uppdate if it works on basic sonar install..

No I'm not sure at all. I thought that Cronus.dll was something to do with V-Vocal. I have mine excluded as that used to be a fix for V-Vocal crashing many moons ago.

Whether that is still the case I have no idea, but mine's still excluded, V-vocal still works, I use it all the time and I haven't had a V-vocal crash in several years.

I'd contact support if I were you, or perhaps try uninstalling and re-installing Sonar to see if it's an install issue.

Re installed windows and sonar, now it work's. Don't know what the cause of the V-vocal was greyed out. Anyway it works now ty all.

Reinstalling Sonar always fixes the "greyed out V-Vocal" issue, I did a post about ages ago.
