I have an AKAI MPK Mini and it's great (certainly no issues with Sonar) - my only complaint is the pads. They're very stiff and you have to hit them quite hard to register a note, making it very hard to vary the pressure for different velocities. Don't know if it's the same on this model.

Akai is gone!! Now they have Celemony Melodyne essential for 50 bucks. Worth it or not? Better, more versatile, and more user friendly than V-vocal?
