Is anyone using both of these? Can anyone comment on how they compare? Post samples comparing each on a mix with 4-6 db’s of reduction?
 
I have the Elephant, but am thinking about getting the Concrete Limiter.

Not if you're brickwalling to today's standards. Also pushing it harder will make flaws and inherent its sound be more easily heard and identified.

I guess it depends what type of music you produce. I'm certainly no expert but I've never been able to limit that far without it sounding bad whichever limiter I've used, so I'm not sure how it matters what artifacts etc you get at that reduction would matter. 
I was under the impression that 2-3db was as much as needed if you we're doing things right.
I don't do dance music but could see how it may work for that genre, I do rock/pop so I would love to know how sqaushed something should be, especially if its going to be sqaushed even farther by broadcast limiting.

Anyone? A 4-6 db reduction would show a difference.

For tracking 4-10 db reduction isn't unusual for transient material, acoustic guitars, snares, vox, bvs, hrns etc. 
I don't have Concrete but use Waves L1, CLA, Ele for those chores.
 
For mastering I use Pro-L / Ele 1-3 db at most.
Concrete would probably fit the bill, many here use it. I don't know how hard you can push it or how transparent it is.

Hi all.I think that is a wrong question.Apple and orange.....Elephant(i'm owner)is a very pro mastering limiter with many parameters on transients,release and limiting behaviour.Concrete (i'm owner)is a awesome track limiter with less parameters but perfect for mixing.My advice is to use concrete in mixing session and use Elephant to finalize your job.Elephant for transient clarity,dynamic expression is always the winner.Best.Roby

Good advice. Yes, I think that I would like to use the Concrete Limiter on ProChannel within tracks only for the mix.
