In X1b, after setting everything in the Metronome dialog window exactly how the manual and help screen states, I can't get the metronome to work in either Playback or Record.

Am I missing something?

X1d did address a number of fixes - give it a shot and post back with results if you are still having problems.

I still have X1d on my system and can try to replicate issue on my box if we need to do so.  Just let me know and I will try to help you,

Thank you for the answers. I am in the middle of a project and am able to use EZ Drummer as a click track for now. I don't want to upgrade in the middle of the project.

You need to install X1c before you install X1d

Same issue here, on and off again, with no apparent rhyme or reason.  Sometimes restarting Sonar fixes it; sometimes re-booting fixes it.  Both PITA and neither guarantee a fix.  There are lots of older posts on this.  It appears to be a running problem (or non-running problem...).
