Back on topic (which i thingk was x2 bugs?).. anyone seen the following?

1. Auditioning audio content ..samples, loops etc.. if i am too quick to switch from one to another to another for preview player it occasionally crashes
This one is the only reason I'm finding X2 less stable (for me) than X1. I've reported this but I'm sure another one won't hurt.

thx for the confirmation, will submit one.

I've not seen this and I was just purposely trying to get it to crash, to see if I could verify the issue. Appeared to work fine on my workstation. I'm assuming you are referring to the Browser?

Two things:

1. I have two different Mac browsers because it seems different forums work better with one or the other. For example I can't use Firefox Mac with this forum but Safari works fine. Same with some other sites and forums.

2. If you're going to switch from Sonar, switch to a program whose last major update happened six months or more ago. Then most of its bugs should have been worked out by now. When it comes out with a new version in six months, you can switch back to Sonar

The last fatal crash came about when clicking to expand the ProChannel at the end of a long editing session

Okay...so I'm NOT the only person this has happened to. Has this happened to you post-Quick Fix? Hasn't happened to me yet since installing the QF, so I was wondering if it was fixed, or I've just been lucky.

Good advice Craig

Really glad it works for you Steve.  It sounds like a heck of a system.   Not so good for the other fella though, at the moment.  I just think before he blames sonar totally and ditches it he should try it on another environment.  IE system.   Just a thought.  You know what it's like though, even individual motherboards (of the same model) can have their 'quirks'.  Be good, Paul.

Well, from the very first post the complaint was two-fold (regardless of the title) I get that people are tired of complaining about the site, but it needs to be complained about. I used to use FF a couple of years ago here and didn't have these problems. I've tried using IE and it has it's own set of problems (including a TON of crashing!) So I can understand the frustration of having a problem and not being able to communicate effectively.

Hey FBB - on the occasional crash when switching on auditioning, could there be any tails playing when you are switching?

Just wondering if is wasn't 'done' with whatever you were auditioning.
