What is wrong with using IE9?

It seems to work fine IMO.

I have to opt for no content flitering.

Other than that, all seems well. Except, any icon will insert at the beginning of my post. I just cut/paste it, or don't do it.

1> Fast
2> Effective

Now let me preview this....

Preview looks good let's see how it posts. (oh and icon inserted in the right place by using "full mode" and choosing the icon from the pics at the left.

IE9 crashes here nearly every time I make a post :o No, really. I still know what to do. So let's review: Some people are having problems with their browsers when trying to post issues they are having with sonar/cake stuff. Why on earth would people not understand that frustration? (using ff here because I'd like for this not to crash while posting, so sorry for the crappy punctuational conglom.

@CowboyDan: I've been on the Internet since before there was an Internet. I've used every kind of forum you can reasonably be expected to use. I run an SMF forum (which is free). I've been on VBulletin forums. I've used them with various browsers from IE to Chrome, Firefox to well, you name it. All of them can do the most basic functions such as a carriage return (think about how basic a function this is) and being able to quote-respond. Again, this is objectively and demonstrably a FORUM ISSUE. Anything else is simply justifying a mistake. The answer is not to simply blame FF but for Cakewalk to fix the issue and test their forum better. Of course it's not just carriage-returns and an inability to quote, but BOTH. Obviously, this forum is broken. My post here will demonstrate that when I post it. As for the software, X2 did seem promising with all of its add-ons and again, I've been a fan of Cakewalk products for years. As for step-sequencing, I've always used the QWERTY keyboard to advance the step-sequencer. I never thought about using Midi but I don't even know how to do that. I like using the enter key because I can step-sequence really fast that way, especially with broken-up 16th notes. I may try turning off my Virus program. I usually try that when I have issues with Sonar but it doesn't explain the hotkeys losing their 'memory' of what I set them to, or the problems with the step-sequencer. The hotkeys I am trying to use are related to piano mode Move, Edit, Smart, etc. Without hotkeys, this process is pretty painful and I find the SMART mode to be too fiddly. I do a lot of piano-note editing. Thanks

it's true - I switched from firefox to safari JUST to be able to participate in this forum without going insane.
